When does TK share in the costs of arti­fi­cial inse­mi­na­tion?

In order for us to share in the costs of artificial insemination certain requirements must be met. These are listed below.

The requirements are:

  • TK must approve the treatment plan before the start of treatment.
  • The couple must be married.
  • Only the egg and sperm cells of the couple may be used.
  • Both married partners must be at least 25 years old. The woman must be below 40 at the time of artificial insemination and the man must be under 50. 

In addition, the doctor must regard the chances of a pregnancy as good. After three unsuccessful attempts, pregnancy is no longer considered likely.
It is up to the doctor to decide whether the medical requirements for artificial insemination are met.
