Yes, we do! We cover 100 per cent up to a maximum of 100 EUR for online health courses or applications started on or after 1 July 2020. Such courses must be certified by the German entral Test Centre for Preventive Health Courses and you have to attend them on a regular basis.

New regulation for courses starting from 15 October 2024: we cover 80 per cent of the course fees for online and face-to-face courses (up to a maximum of 150 EUR for individual courses and 300 EUR for combined courses). This means that online and face-to-face courses are now being treated the same and we have also increased the maximum amount which can be reimbursed.

To find the right course, select "Online-Kurse" (online courses) in our German online courses from the course type in our health course search.

More details

Online course programs are self-learning offerings that are offered in the form of an internet intervention or app and in which, for example, learning videos, reflection questions or automated feedback replace the course leader.

Due to the corona pandemic, providers of health courses were allowed to continue or carry out their local offers with video support as so-called "streaming offers". These course offerings therefore fell under the classic face-to-face courses and, like them, were reimbursed up to 80 percent with regular participation, up to a maximum of 75 euros.

This special rule expired on December 31, 2022. Since January 1, 2023, streaming offers can be certified as online offers by the Central Prevention Testing Center if they meet the applicable test criteria. Accordingly, we support certified streaming offers 100 percent up to a maximum of 100 euros.

After completing the course, you will receive a certificate of participation, which you will need to reimburse the proportionate course costs.

Information

The possibility of alternatively holding courses on site as an online streaming offer is currently valid until revoked.
