TK's supplementary benefit
Men and women between the ages of 20 and 34 can have their skin screened for cancer every 24 months by a dermatologist or specialist in skin and venereal diseases who has signed a separate agreement. Alternative agreements exist in some German federal states.
Statutory skin cancer screening
From the age of 35, you can have the screening performed every other year by a primary care physician, a specialist in skin and venereal diseases, a dermatologist, a specialist in internal medicine or a general practitioner who has undergone appropriate advanced training.
Ask your doctor whether he can bill services using your eHealth card and, if so, which ones. If you are visiting an authorised physician, all you need to do is show your TK eHealth card.
Do you need help finding a doctor? TK is not allowed to recommend doctors. However, the TK-DoctorGuide will help you find a suitable specialist.
